Care Guide

Jewelry Care

Each piece of jewelry is designed to be worn, cherished, and kept close. With thoughtful care, its beauty and character can be preserved for years to come.

Everyday Care

Jewelry should be the final touch when getting ready and the first thing removed at the end of the day.

To protect your pieces, avoid direct contact with water, perfume, hairspray, lotions, cosmetics, household cleaners, and other chemicals. We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, or doing household tasks.
Handle each piece gently and avoid pulling, bending, dropping, or knocking it against hard surfaces. Pearls, natural stones, and delicate settings require particular care.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

After each wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to remove natural oils, moisture, and residue.

For a deeper clean, always consider the most delicate material in the piece. Avoid abrasive cloths, harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, and ultrasonic or steam-cleaning devices, as these may damage plating, pearls, natural stones, or delicate settings.
Allow every piece to dry completely before storing.

Storage

Store each piece separately in its original pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratching, tangling, and unnecessary exposure to air and moisture.
Keep your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, and sudden changes in temperature. Fasten necklaces and bracelets before storing them to help prevent knots and damage.

Pearls

Pearls are naturally delicate and should be treated with extra care. Their surface can be affected by perfume, cosmetics, sweat, and chemicals.

Always put pearls on after applying beauty products and gently wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wearing. Allow them to air-dry fully before storing them separately from harder jewelry that may scratch their surface.
Do not soak pearls in water or clean them with ultrasonic devices, steam, or chemical jewelry cleaners.

Natural & Energy Stones

Our natural stones—including clear quartz, lapis lazuli, and other minerals—are shaped by nature. Variations in color, pattern, clarity, and texture are part of their individual beauty and make every piece unique.

Avoid exposing natural stones to chemicals, prolonged moisture, strong sunlight, extreme heat, or sudden temperature changes. Some stones, including lapis lazuli, are porous and particularly sensitive to water, oils, and cleaning products.
Clean stone jewelry gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak it or place it in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.

If your personal ritual includes cleansing or recharging your stones, we recommend choosing a dry, gentle method. Avoid salt water, chemical sprays, prolonged sunlight, or any method that may affect the stone, metal, plating, or setting.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally develops a soft patina over time as it reacts with air, moisture, and the wearer’s skin. This is a natural characteristic of the material rather than a defect.

To restore its shine, gently polish the silver with a clean silver-polishing cloth. Avoid excessive rubbing, particularly on pieces that also feature pearls, stones, or plated details.
Store sterling silver in a dry, enclosed pouch when it is not being worn to help slow down oxidation.

Gold-Plated Jewelry

Gold plating is a delicate surface finish that will naturally evolve and soften over time. The longevity of the plating depends on how often the piece is worn, individual skin chemistry, and exposure to moisture, friction, and beauty products.

To preserve its finish, keep gold-plated jewelry dry and avoid contact with perfume, lotions, sweat, chlorine, salt water, and household chemicals.

After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use silver-polishing cloths, abrasive materials, or chemical cleaners, as these may remove or damage the gold-plated surface.

A Note on Natural Wear

Fine scratches, subtle changes in tone, and gradual wear may occur as your jewelry becomes part of your everyday life. These changes are natural and reflect the unique way each piece is worn and loved.

Check clasps, chains, settings, and stone security regularly. If you notice looseness, damage, or significant wear, discontinue use and seek professional jewelry care.

Treat your jewelry with intention, and let its beauty stay with you.
